Bowl Style Ceiling Fan Light Kits

Probably the most popular style in ceiling fan light kits today are what we like to call bowl style. These lights use a single piece of glass shaped like a bowl and are open at the top. Although some of these may hold a different bulb configuration, most of these lights will hold 2 to 3 bulbs within the bowl. Wattage will typically max out at 120 total watts. The Gulf-Coast brand, along with some others, will use standard sockets and come pre-packaged with two energy efficient CFL bulbs. However, because of the use of standard sockets, if you'd prefer a brighter amount of light from these kits, the CFL bulbs can be replaced with halogen or LED bulbs to provide more lighting into your space.

These light kits are intended to be added to most fans that are sold without lights already included. This allows the individual to customize the style fan/light combination they prefer, verses having to settle for a style that isn't exactly what they had mind. Most all of our bowl style kits will come with a matching bottom finial to the finish of ceiling fan you are adding it to.
