Our Shipping Methods and Return Policy

 

  • Shipping & Delivery

    Most products are in-stock at either our warehouse, or if not in ours, items will be shipped directly to you from the manufacturer. Once an order is received it usually takes 1 business day for the product to ship from our warehouse or up to 3 business days if shipping directly from the manufacturer.

    Items typically ship via FedEx Ground. Delivery time from date of purchase can vary between 1 to 2 weeks based upon your location and whether the fan ships from our warehouse or comes to you directly from the manufacturer. If faster delivery time is needed you can call us with your order and we can arrange for expedited shipping.

    Please, DO NOT SCHEDULE AN INSTALLER PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND INSPECTION OF YOUR PRODUCTS. We cannot control travel times and although shipping damage is rare with our products, sometimes it does happen. If a package is lost or arrives damaged during shipping, understand it is totally out of our control and we will not be held liable for any electrician (or installer) charges for extra trips back to your home.

    NOTE:  We sell every ceiling fan at the manufacturer's minimum allowed resale price. Due to our unusually low prices, we do not have the high markup most retailers have to include shipping on every single item. However, all fans $300 and up do include FREE SHIPPING if shipping to an address within the continental United States.

  • Returns & Replacements

    In the event a product needs to be returned you must contact us for prior written approval. Any return without first contacting us for written approval will not be accepted. All returns must be in original packaging and in non-used condition, and must be returned within 14 days from date of delivery of product. A full refund will be given when we receive the product back in new condition, less any shipping and handling charges. Many items on our website ship to our customers for free, but please understand that shipping isn't free, we are just covering the shipping cost on your purchase. If giving a refund we have to deduct what it cost us to ship the item to you. After you are given a Return Goods Authorization, please send any items back to 3119 Battleground Ave., Greensboro, NC 27408.

    Installed items will be subject to a 20% minimum restocking fee upon return and must come back with all parts and in original packaging. We cannot sell an installed ceiling fan or light as new, and most customers will not purchase an installed item without us offering a large discount on the item, this is the reason for the restocking fee. HOWEVER, if an item is installed and in the unlikely event that a product is defective, we'll exchange the defective item for the same product and we will pay for shipping of the new product as well as return of the defective item. We will not be held responsible for any cost involved in the labor of installation of the replacement item, or the removal of the defective item. The manufacturers will not cover that as part of the warranty and we cannot either. If you receive a defective item many times a photo of cosmetic damages, or a video of mechanical issues can speed up the replacement process. Finishes can vary in an online photo compared to the actual product you may receive due to lighting differences, and slight color variations are not defects. Please contact us for assistance.

    We will not refund a special order item. Please ask upon ordering if you have any concerns whether an item is a special order or comes from our regular stock. We do not post on the web pages whether an item comes from our normal stock or ships to you directly from the manufacturer, because either way you'll have the product in about the same amount of time. Although we do not refund special order items, we will give an exchange for a special order item if dissatisfied for any reason. You will get a store credit if the product you exchange for is less than your original product cost. The customer is responsible for shipping cost associated with the exchange process.

    For 90 days from date of order, we will gladly exchange any item you receive if there is a change of mind for any reason, as long as the item/items haven't been installed. Products being exchanged must be in original packaging and condition. The customer will be responsible for all shipping cost associated with the exchange.
