We, here at Modern Fan Outlet would like to keep this article simple, by wishing you a happy Spring 2019. Although it really doesn’t feel like spring in our area today (Greensboro, NC) and in many other areas of the United States, it is, none-the-less, the first day of spring. Spring has sprung!

We would also like to remind the readers of this blog post, and our past and future customers that it is the time of year to reverse your ceiling fans back to their cooling mode.

In order for a ceiling fan to help during the cold season, first you must know which direction to operate your fan during the winter versus the summer. I could easily give you the short answer, but working in the ceiling fan business as long as I have, I realize that the short answer helps only about 50% of the people that ask the question, "Which way should I run my fan during the winter?"
